JCPH is equipped with a covered arena, that will be extremely beneficial with lessons. "JCPH is excited to announce we will be teaming up with Jessica Shively of Trail of Faith Farms from Trenton, NC! We will now be offering therapeutic riding lessons as well as equine therapy sessions.Jessica is an enthusiastic and compassionate instructor that wants to extend the opportunity and her services to kids and adults with special needs to the Raleigh area. All activities are focused on safety, fun, and are tailored t...o each student's specific needs. These activities not only teach riding, but also everyday skills that can be used on a regular basis to help improve the quality of life through the power of the horse. Lessons are for both children and adults that may battle challenges faced with physical, cognitive or emotional disorders such as autism, PTSD, down syndrome, spina bifida, multiple sclerosis, traumatic brain injury, cerebral palsy, amputation, attention deficit disorder and more.
