Good morning ya'll! For those of you that didn't receive a call/text in regards to the change of lesson pricing: Please read the below. If you have any questions, please contact the Instructor at 252-503-7393. Thank you and have a blessed day!

All prices on riding lessons will be going up. All current students on a weekly or bi-weekly schedule will continue to keep current(old) pricing and new pricing will be implemented January 1, 2017.
As the farm continues to grow with our new facility,  more equines, and our training program,  We can't thank you all enough for the support and for choosing us for your Equine needs. So again thank you! We pray we continue to grow and He fulfills all that is needed, to accommodate all our clients. So again thank you.

We are always in need of donations such as:
-Coastal hay to feed the horses and goats
-Sawdust or stall shavings
or anything else that you may think will be useful.

God's Not Dead

Good evening ya'll! The Lord has laid a few words on my heart to share.
So let's get this started. Regardless if you are a Christian or not, you matter to us! We do not force anyone to believe the way we do and those who know us, can testify.  We cherish everyone that we cross paths with.

I want to say thank you again, as you can never say thank you enough, to all those who volunteer and continue to support T.O.F.F. I watched a phenomenal movie last night which has lead me to this particular blog. What was the movie you ask? Great question! Gods Not Dead 2. This movie portrays a lot of current incidents that go on in today's society; well you just need to watch it to find out the rest.

Anyway the purpose of this writing, to inform ya'll we have an intention. An intention to encourage you if you need it, to share our testimony with you when its needed, to share Christ by being uplifting, not condescending or to lecture, and to stand firm on His word; all the while horses are in the mix.

We are at war with the powers of this world, not the flesh.
One of my favorite scriptures, Put on the Full Armor of God, Ephesians 6:10-14
Be strong in the Lord and His mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the Devil's schemes.
Stand firm:
1. Belt of truth buckled around your waist
2. Breastplate of righteousness
3. Feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace (The gospel of peace is the message that Jesus gave to those who trust in Him)
4. Shield of Faith, which will extinguish all flaming arrows of the evil one
5. Helmet of Salvation
6.Sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God(Your Bible)
Pray in the Spirit on all occasions about everything and everyone. The most you can do is pray.

Know that you are never alone, God is always with you.

Romans 10:10-13
Confess your sins to God, He knows your heart, proclaim with your voice that he died for your sins and that you are saved.

Hey Y'all! So we have taken the big leap and TOFF is officially full-time! TOFF will be offering all services year round. God is so good as He has blessed us with a beautiful barn. We now offer training and lessons Monday thru Saturday.  Please contact us for specific times, to schedule lessons and/or training, or for any other questions. We are now in the process with working with a couple of organizations so we can be a direct resource in offering Equine-assisted therapy for them. We ask for continued prayers as we are now saving up for a wheelchair ramp and a nice covered arena. We want to thank everyone, past and present that's volunteered and/or donated equipment. We pray for the continued support. Thank you and God bless ya'll!

Hey ya'll! As we are slipping into the cooler weather, Trail of Faith Farms will be taking the Fall/Winter off from lessons.  This "time off" will also be a great time for us to continue to set up our new location! So we have taken a big leap of faith and God has worked out many details beyond what we imagined! We have a lot of fencing to put up and a lot of other hard work, but I know its all worth it!

So we will resume all lessons in the Spring of 2016. We are still located off of East Pleasant Hill Road in Trenton: Now at 190.

We are now located 3 miles down the road from our old location of 208 Pleasant Hill Road.

Here is a story of one of my students named Dylan. Dylan's mother shared this event with me. The story show's how the young boy's confidence has grown since he's been participating in horseback riding.

........."I just had to share this because it's so awesome. Last night we took Dylan to the fair on base and he was able to ride all the rides without any meltdowns. He even rode the carousel TWICE which the past two times we've tried him on it... It was too overwhelming for him. He had meltdowns and wanted off as soon as it started moving. It was awesome to see how far he's come with his sensory issues and be able to enjoy himself. He even ask to go on rides! Definitely got teary eyed last night lol.".......

Since Dylan has been participating in lessons, I organize all kinds of games incorporating stretching, that is out of his comfort zone, ground exercises, such as him leading Annie the horse, and other games to work on sensory issues. I enjoy seeing his progress and the fact that other people, including his family recognize his improvement's, its truly rewarding!

A special Arabian named, Annie

I would like to start off by giving a big thank you to our friend and neighbor,David. Thank you so much for letting me use your beautiful horse, Annie.  Lessons would not be possible without this beautiful horse. Annie is absolutely wonderful with children. She seems to like them even more at the end of the lesson, when she gets treats, such as carrots and apple slices. Treats are actually a very positive way to bond with the horse. It gives the student time to form a friendship with the horse, the same way you do when you groom the horse. Annie is truly a special horse and continues to find her way in many hearts.

Again, I can't say thank you enough. Y'all are so wonderful and it's such a blessing to work with such an amazing horse. Sincerely, Thank you so much.

Cowboy Up

I would like to share how wonderful God is. I have a young student that took his first fall this past Saturday. To give you a little background on this student, he has sensory issues, has bursts of energy, and like any human being, tends to not pay attention at times. I had planned to do a fun exercise of rounding up loose 'cows'.(Paper cutouts placed randomly around riding area) The student was using a hula hoop to round up the loose cows. This is a good exercise to get his focus, help with his balance, and coordiantion. Well, it was rather windy that day. A gust of wind lifted one of the 'cows' off of the barrel it was taped too. The horse moved suddenly to the left and the student fell to the ground. Naturally, this startled the student. I helped him up and asked if he was ok. I worked with the horse in the spot where this all occured, while the student's parents tended to him. My husband assisted me and took the horse to the center of the riding area. I asked the student if he wanted to play catch next to the horse. I did this so he could build up his confidence and focus on another task. After doing this exercise, I asked the student if he was ready to ride again. The student said yes! I was so relieved that this young boy cowboyed up! He ended this lesson on such a postive note. He had a smile of accomplishment and expressed it with a sigh of relief. I was thrilled to see that the Lord took this event and good came out of it, and God kept this little boy safe! It shows you that matter how prepared we are and have things planned out, everything takes it's own course. It's up to you to handle it the best way possible and see light in every situation!
